UNWTO and UN Women commit further to an ongoing collaboration
Taleb Rifai, Secretary-General of UNWTO, and Michelle Bachelet, Executive Director of UN Women, renewed the framework cooperation agreement between the two organizations on 29 October 2011, during a retreat of the United Nations Chief Executives' Board for Coordination (CEB) in New York, chaired by UN Secretary-General, Ban ki-Moon, who joined the signing.

The secret of Ho Dynasty Citadel
More than 600 years ago, the Ho Dynasty Citadel was built in Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province. Since then the unique stone work in Southeast Asia was forgotten in wars. It was recognized by the UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site in June 2011.
Scientists cannot explain how this bulky stone-made work was built in only three months, particularly how over 25,000 cu.m of rock, averaging 10-20 tons per rock, were transported to the construction site in that short period of time.
