Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has asked all domestic
travel agencies to suspend travel itineraries of Vietnamese tour groups to
Thailand until floodwaters begin to recede in the country.

Earlier, several travel agencies in Vietnam had suspended package tours to
Bangkok although the Tourism Authority of Thailand insisted that the city was
safe for tourists.
Two months of constant flooding has inundated 58 of the 77 Thai provinces, with
28 being severely affected, and the livelihood of millions of people put on
hold, according to news reports.
