Famous artists, singers, DJs of Vietnam and the world will take part in the Heineken Countdown Party on the evening of December 31, in HCM City and Nha Trang.
The Heineken Countdown Party this year will be held in Nguyen Hue Street, HCM City and 2/4 Square in Nha Trang city.
The event will group up famous singers, artists, DJs and dancers from Europe, America and Vietnam.
In HCM City, the show will welcome a well-known American guitarist – Joy Basu, singer Aimi and DJ Emrah Is from Europe, Vietnamese pop star Ho Ngoc Ha, V. Music band, Yen Trang, Tieu Chau Nhu Quynh and Amigo G.
In Nha Trang, the event will have the presence of DJ cum singer Liviu Hodor and singer Mona from Europe besides Vietnamese singers Ha Anh Tuan, Hien Thuc, Thu Thuy, Minh Thu, X5 band, etc.
The two parties will be connected through video conference.
To prepare for the Heineken Countdown Party, from 8pm, December 31, roads to HCM City and Nha Trang’s hubs will be free from all kinds of vehicles. In Nha Trang, a ten-minute firework show will take place before the New Year’s Eve.
Launched in 1907, the Countdown Party has become a unique New Year-celebration event at the Times Square in New York, which lures around 1 million people annually. This event has spread to many big cities in the world, including Vietnam in the last three years.
The program will be aired live on HTV7 channel at 11.30pm, December 31. The show will run from 8pm to 12pm.
