Kampong Thom is one of the five province surrounding Tonle Sap Lake. It is Cambodia's second largest province. At the geographical heart of the country, it is home to some of Cambodia's most splendid cultural and natural heritage. Halfway between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Kampong Thom town is situated on the bands of the Saen River. It is easy to reach from either direction and is and inviting starting point to explore some of the country's most alluring tourism highlights. Kampong Thom is unspoilt Cambodia at its very best. Sambo Prei Kuh is one the Khmer civilization and historical sites. It is close to Stoeng Sen (Sen Stream), 35 km northeast of Kampong Thom Town.
