The Sai Gon General Service Joint Stock Company (SAVICO)
recently started work on construction of the Mercure Sontra Resort in the center
of the Son Tra Peninsula in Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District, the city of Da
Nang.
Located in the midst of world cultural heritage sites like the ancient imperial
city of Hue, the ancient town of Hoi An and the My Son relic site, the resort is
expected to be an ideal destination for tourists.
The Mercure Sontra Resort will stand on 57,651sq.m and be built at a total cost
of US$20 million including a four-star hotel, 22 villas and
service/sport/entertainment facilities. After the resort is completed in 2013,
it will create hundreds of local jobs.
The Accor Group of France will manage and operate the four-star resort.
Investors/buyers will not only own villas but lease them for profit.
