Dear Ms. Mai,
We had an enjoyable time on the Ha Noi to Beijing train. The train
stopped at Dong Dang, and the passengers were processed through
Vietnamese immigration at the station; then, we boarded the Chinese
train; and at Pingxing, China, the immigration officials processed the
passengers right on the train. The 3 of us were in a 4-person
compartment; twice during the trip, a fourth passenger spent a night or
so in our compartment. The train didn''t stop for long at any station
along the way, except at Nanning. We had a couple of hours to walk
around near the station there, and find somewhere to have breakfast.
All of us enjoyed our stay in Ha Noi, and the tour you arranged for us.
This was my second visit to Ha Noi, and I''ll return some day. We were
sorry that we didn''t have another day, so that we could visit Ha Long
Bay.
Your husband is lucky to have found such a pretty wife, who is also such
a good businesswoman.
